Book Clubs

In addition to traditional library time, Lanai is proud to host book clubs for kids. Approved Tier III volunteers* may become a book club leader for your child’s classroom or grade; all you need is a love of books and reading.

 

Our Book Club chairperson provides title recommendations, facilitator guidelines and sample discussion questions to make being a leader easy and fun.

 

Classroom Book Clubs meet monthly and Recess Book Clubs meet weekly. Volunteers may personalize the clubs to the interests of the children in the class or grade. Book clubs are a fantastic way for parents and children to be engaged in an educational activity together without feeling like it’s school!
