This has been a challenging week, but your students have been well-supervised, engaged and learning. Classes were organized by grade levels and TAs remained with their grade levels, thus they knew their students.
I hope that UTLA and LAUSD come to an agreement very soon. Our students thrive with their teachers.
Wishing you a wonderful three-day weekend as we celebrate the words, wisdom, vision and actions of Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr.

FROM THE SCHOOL OFFICE:
The rainy season is here! Please send your child with a warm jacket and long pants! If your child is coming to school with rain boots, please also pack a pair of athletic shoes for them to change into. Extra socks and pants come in handy for those kids who like to jump into puddles. Always put your child’s name on their items, particularly jackets and sweaters! Our Lost and Found is a busy place!
BYOB: Bring Your Own Lip Balm - While we are happy to offer a swab of petroleum jelly from a jar, it is most ideal for those with frequent dry lips to come to school with their own lip balm/Chapstick/Vaseline.
Please tie back your hair (girls) - Jane in the office would like to remind parents of girls to tie their hair back when sending them to school.
