Lanai Weekly: October 5, 2015

Principal’s Message:

Dear Parents,

Teachers sent home warning notices (progress reports) last week to notify parents of students who are at risk of not meeting grade level standards and may receive a 1 or 2 on their report card.  Progress reports are a snapshot of how a child is doing at this point in time.  These scores are not necessarily a direct indication of how they will do on their report card, but do provide insight at this point in the year as to how far along a child is doing in comparison to where they are expected to be at the end of the trimester.  If your child receives a progress report, please contact your child’s teacher via email or phone to discuss their progress.  With the support and partnership between school and home our students will be successful.
