Lanai Weekly: September 2 - 6, 2019

Principal’s Message:

As the new principal of Lanai Road Elementary School, I am honored and excited to be a part of this amazing community and I look forward to establishing meaningful connections with the dedicated staff, students, parents and community members. As your principal, I can ensure you that your child is safe, engaged, supported and challenged. My expectation is we will work as a united team where all stakeholders respectfully collaborate and communicate for the academic and social success of our students.

As far as my professional experience, I have been in education for over 20 years serving as a teacher, literacy coach and assistant principal. My most recent assignment was at Woodlake Elementary Community Charter where I served as the principal for the past 4 years.

As I make this transition as your new principal, my goal is to spend the first few months learning about our school culture and our stakeholders. I eagerly anticipate getting to know the Lanai community, and learning about your hopes and dreams for our school and our students. Please stop by and introduce yourself as I am looking forward to meeting you and your child. Although you will see me around campus throughout the year, please join me this Tuesday, September 3 at 8:30 am at the New Family Orientation or on Friday, September 6 at 8:30 in the library for our first Coffee with the Principal event.
