Lanai Weekly: August 26 - 30, 2019

Dear Lanai Community,

It has been my great pleasure to work with such an amazing community. The teaching staff is wonderful. The rest of the staff from office, custodial, teachers’ assistants, librarian, after school programs, and cafeteria go above and beyond. Robbie Soloman, Hahn Le, Jody Chow and Alisa Lippman have made my job so enjoyable. Your children are delightful and a reflection of your parenting.

I know that it is difficult to have an interim that sometimes enforces rules that are different than before but thank you following them. Change can be difficult but your principal selection committee has selected a fabulous principal. I have been a principal at many schools but Lanai is a shining star.

Wishing your all a fabulous year.

Thank you,

Anna Feig, Interim Principal

Also, we've received a lot of requests for lip balm in the office. We are happy to provide a swab of petroleum jelly but it would be ideal if kids who dry lips bring in their own lip balm to use.
