There is a lot of counting going on at Lanai! Just ask the Kindergartners how many days are left of school. They know it by the letter of the alphabet. Art Day, Bubble Day, Camouflage Day, Donut Day, Exercise Day, Friend Day, Games Day and today, Hat Da - All Super, Fun Days! Our fifth graders returned from Pali Camp and had a wonderful time. You could tell by the great stories and sleepy eyes when they returned! It’s a trip they’ll always remember!
Our third graders completed their math portion of the SBAC test and next week, fourth and fifth graders will be working on it. Most fourth graders have completed the English Language Arts section and will be working on math next week. Our fifth graders will be working on the English Language Arts section next week. Please remember that your child needs a good night’s sleep and a complete breakfast to give their best attention to the test.
Finally, our Laps for Lanai Fun Run is on Tuesday and our students have been preparing through daily exercise, character challenges, and some cool activities. We look forward to the run and encourage you to attend! Check out Parent Square for all the details.
Enjoy your weekend and Happy Mother’s Day!
