Lanai Weekly: September 4 - 8, 2017

Principal's Message

Dear Families,

Four school days of unprecedented heat, two Back to School Nights, and one awesome Lanai staff who carried on with their terrific lessons and indoor recess to keep our students learning and safe during these hot, hot days.

As you all enjoy this four-day weekend remember that we are celebrating Admissions Day on Friday September 1st, which honors California becoming the 31st state in 1850.   On Monday, September 4th, Labor Day, we are reminded of the contributions organized workers made to the success and growth of our country.

I wish you all a wonderful, safe and hopefully, COOL weekend!

Lisa Elan

Hurricane Harvey Relief Help - As you are aware, Hurricane Harvey has overwhelmingly impacted Houston and other Texas communities.  The L.A.
