I don’t know if you’ve heard all the chatter, and seen the yellow caution tape, but a crime occurred at Lanai! Apparently, Coach P.J.’s hat was missing and our students’ scrutinized clues (just like actual investigators) and determined the culprit. They engaged in studying handwriting samples, foot-to-height ratio, hair analysis and fingerprint patterns. It was CSI Lanai--designed and presented by our Science Explosion parents! Ask your child, “Who done it?”!
Halloween is on Monday and we are all looking forward to a fun, safe parade and day. Please remember that as per the District, we are not allowed to have any student, parent, or staff member dressed as a clown, have a clown mask, or wear any face paint. Of course, no weapon accessories, and masks may only be worn around the neck; not obscure the child’s face.
Rumor has it that Mrs. Elan and her big, striped hat won’t be at the parade on Monday—it’ll probably be someone else! Looking forward to seeing lots of happy faces on Monday in adorable, scary, and funny costumes!
