Lanai Weekly September 21, 2015

Principal’s Message:

Dear Lanai Families,

Lanai Road is pleased to report the performance levels of our students on the first California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP).  Because this is a new test on new standards, these scores cannot be compared to previous years' tests. We are closely analyzing the data to inform our ongoing instruction.  Overall results indicate that a majority of our students’ are meeting or exceeding standards in Language Arts and Mathematics.  In addition to Language Arts and Math, our 5th grade students continue to take the paper and pencil California Standards Test in Science.  This year 89% percent of our students performed at the Proficient and Advanced Levels.  Please check the Lanai Road website for more information on scores and parent resources.  We are proud of our teachers and students for their diligence, perseverance, and performance.  Click here for parent resources.

Sincerely,

Mr. Hansen
