As the school year gets into full swing here at Lanai I wanted to take a moment and review the Volunteer procedures required by LAUSD. First of all, I want to say thanks to everyone who is interested in volunteering and all the parents who volunteer at our school, it’s a big part of what makes Lanai great. All volunteers are required to wear a volunteer badge and sign in at the front office each time they volunteer. In order to obtain a badge, please fill out a volunteer form (available in the Parent Center or front office) and turn it into either the Parent Center or front office along with a valid negative TB test result form from a doctor or clinic. You do not need to get a new badge each year, but you must renew your TB test every 4 years. Once you turn in your form, our Parent Center Director will process your application and email you when your badge is ready for pick up. Then simply stop by the Parent Center at your convenience to pick up your badge. If you have any questions, please email our Parent Center Director, Lisa Reeve, at email@example.com.
