Principal’s Message:

Congratulations to Coach P.J.!  He was voted on by his peers as the Encino Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year.  Coach P.J. will be honored with other teachers from Encino schools at a special dinner and awards ceremony on Thursday, March 26.  We are fortunate to have such a dynamic teacher and role model for our students.

Drop off Your Auction Donations Today!  Thank you to those who have already reached out and donated amazing items to this year's Beyond the Velvet Rope Auction and Gala. Do you have an item you would like to donate but not sure what to do with it? Buy your Gala tickets! - Follow the call to the disco ball! Tickets are now available online for Beyond the Velvet Rope, Lanai’s annual gala. Don your leisure suits, disco dresses and stilettos and join us on Saturday, March 14, from 6 PM - midnight at The Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City for dinner, dancing and silent and live auctions benefiting our school.

The Lanai Leader Wants You!  (To write!)  -The theme for student submissions in March is HOBBIES or WHAT I LIKE TO DO FOR FUN. Students are invited to write one sentence or more about what kinds of hobbies, sports, and extracurricular activities they enjoy. The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 27th.  Please email your child’s work to editor Jill Dickerson at Jill.Dickerson@me.com

SEEDS After School Care is open for Spring Break Fun at Lanai! - Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3. They will be open 8 am to 5 pm. Bring a lunch they’ll supply the fun. Flyers under Afterschool Care tab on the Lanai website.

SEEDS is offering Summer Camp at Lanai - Seeds After school Care will be offering Summer Care from June 8th through July 3rd, daily from 8 am to 5 pm. Sports, games, arts and crafts, computer lab and more.  Field trips to parks, beaches, museums and sky zone!  Morning and afternoon snacks provided daily.  Students are required to bring a lunch.  Call or email Seeds after school care to secure your placement.

SEEDS is also offering Summer Bridge Enrichment Classes - Have your child get a jump on the fall! SEEDS has some of Lanai's best teachers lined up to facilitate learning in a fun atmosphere.
