Lanai Weekly: Nov 17, 2014

Principal’s Message:

Last week, Ms.Taylor and I went to Washington D.C. to represent our school at the National Blue Ribbon School Conference.  One highlight of the trip was hearing a speech from U.S. Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, who spoke about celebrating the work of all schools and emphasizing the power of the entire school community: teachers, students, parents, administrators, staff and volunteers that come together to make a great school.  It was an honor to represent Lanai and I want to thank our entire community for helping us earn this meaningful distinction for our school.
